Our concrete polishing method employs cutting edge technology to stain, polish and then protect and preserve your brand new tinted concrete floor. The finished product is attractive and professional, creating a natural appearance that marries the look of stone with the grain of wood.
How We Polish Concrete Office Flooring
Here are the typical steps employed when polishing office concrete. First of all, a strong sand of the present concrete removes blemishes, imperfections and spots and ensures that the floor sealants affix permanently. We use quality professional vacuum equipment to remove the dust produced during the grind. Any areas with cracks, deterioration, or faults or other issues are refloated, covered, or otherwise brought to the same surface level and quality as the rest of the concrete. This ensures the polish is effectively even.
Your office floor is then infused with a tint stain of your selection, along with any needed patterns. Stains can be heavy, obscuring the “grain” of the concrete, or light and sheer, allowing the natural patterns in the concrete to show through like polished wood or stone. Floor sealants are then applied over the polished surface to fill the depressions and highlight the expressive sparkle. These clear sealers affix to the smooth surface with great strength, creating a floor that is very low maintenance. For zones where heavy traffic is commonplace, we apply a thick coating of strong sealers to compensate.
