Trowel Grade Epoxy in Napa CA

When Strength is a Demand

Trowel Grade EpoxyWhere a lot of traffic or extreme demands are commonplace, your epoxy flooring requires a trowel grade application. This is the best system available for ultimate endurance, providing a coating with twice the thickness of our usual commercial or home epoxy process. Floors that withstand great weight, such as from heavy-duty forklifts, should be with trowel grade epoxy. Trowel grade is also highly recommended if concrete contact with caustic or corrosive chemicals is common.

With thicker coats comes additional time for curing. Ideally, trowel grade epoxy is laid at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or higher; under that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes more time to cure. Average curing time is eight to twelve hours for each coating. The final cure, when the usual work can begin again, is after 7 days. Please note that below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade coats are best not attempted.

Trowel grade calls for significant skills and experience to install correctly. West Coast Epoxy has the staff and tools needed to match the needs of any commercial or industrial site.
