If Endurance is a Demand
Trowel grade epoxy is the maximal concrete coating for thickness and endurance! For heavy-duty shops, manufacturing buildings, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade coatings are perfect. They endure more weight, corrodents, and traffic. If your floor endures a lot of punishment, it requires a trowel grade epoxy covering.
With thicker epoxies comes added time for curing. Ideally, trowel grade epoxy is laid at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit or above. Below that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes more time to cure. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade epoxies are best not attempted. Normal curing time is 8 to 12 hours for each coating. Average activities can begin again 7 days after the final coating.
Trowel grade coatings are not for DIY fans! Skills and experience are essential, as well as high-grade troweling tools.
