When Toughness is a Demand
Trowel grade epoxy is the maximum concrete coat for thickness and endurance! For heavy-duty equipment shops, industrial warehouses, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade coatings are perfect. They handle greater mass, corrodents, and traffic. If your concrete deals with much punishment, it must have a trowel grade epoxy covering.
With heavier coats comes added time for curing. Optimally, trowel grade epoxy is layered at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or above. Below that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes more time to cure. Average curing time is 8-12 hours for each coat. The full curing, when normal work can begin again, is after 7 days. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade coats are best not attempted.
Trowel grade coatings are not for do-it-yourself projects! Experience and skill are needed, as well as high end troweling tools. That is why West Coast Epoxy is here for you in Auburn to bring the correct materials and teams to do the job if trowel grade coatings are needed.
