When Endurance is a Requirement
Trowel grade epoxy is the maximal concrete coating for thickness and durability! For heavy-duty shops, industrial properties, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade epoxies are the ultimate! They endure greater weight, corrodents, and traffic. If your concrete deals with such punishment, it needs a trowel grade epoxy covering.
With heavier epoxies comes added time for curing. Optimally, trowel grade epoxy is laid at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, or more. Under that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes longer to cure. Ordinary curing time is 8-12 hours for each coating. The complete curing, when ordinary activities can begin again, is after 7 days. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade coats are best not attempted.
Trowel grade coats are not for do-it-yourself fans! Skill and experience are needed, as well as quality troweling tools. When trowel grade epoxies are needed in Pleasanton, West Coast Epoxy is prepared to provide the right materials and staff to do the job right!
