Installing Epoxy Floors
West Coast Epoxy starts the process with diamond grinding that both scours and preps the concrete for installation of the epoxy. Out of regard for the sanitation and air quality of your room, strong industrial strength vacuums with HEPA filtration are used to capture all the concrete dust. Excellent equipment ensures outstanding results.
When the preparation is done, a wicking epoxy is layered onto your floor. This resilient substance flows into all the small depressions and fissures in the floor to cover it completely. These blemishes increase the adhesion to your floor. Now your epoxy floor will preserve your concrete for its lifetime.
And the process will not end there! After the base coat is in place, we apply the pattern, color, and texture options you selected in advance. Finally, we apply a transparent topcoat that seals and preserves your new floor from UV damage and scratches.
