When Endurance is a Requirement
Trowel grade epoxy is the ultimate concrete coating for thickness and longevity! For heavy-duty equipment workshops, manufacturing locations, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade coats are ideal. They withstand greater weight, caustics, and traffic. If your concrete meets with a lot of punishment, it must have a trowel grade epoxy covering.
With heavier epoxies comes additional time for curing. Ideally, trowel grade epoxy is laid at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit or above. Below that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes more time to cure. Normal curing time is 8 to 12 hours for each coating. The full cure, when average activities can begin again, is after seven days. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, trowel grade epoxies are best not tried.
Trowel grade takes significant skill and experience to install right. West Coast Epoxy has the crew and equipment needed to meet the specifications of any commercial or industrial property.
