I contacted Marc about a Garage conversion that we did. Turned it into a small living space. First off, Marc responded to my email within 2 hours and we set up an appointment date (within a week) for him to come out and see what we wanted done. The contractors we had that did the work for the conversion left the place a mess and I told Marc about our experience with them, he was very sympathetic and understood the value of quality/honest work. We went with a Large Flake Garnet style epoxy and am extremely happy with the results. The price was fair and calculated using proper square footage measurements, not just eyeballing it or giving “guesstimates”.. Marc’s team cleaned up after themselves and everyone showed great communication! After what we had experienced with the previous contractors, Marc and his team at West Coast Epoxy was sincerely a breath of fresh air. 10/10. Would recommend. Thank you Marc

I just recently bought a house and the first thing I wanted to do was fix the garage floor. West Coast Epoxy was quick and responsive to my inquiries. Within two weeks they were able to put down the Epoxy flooring. My garage went from looking absolutely awful (stained concrete, spilled paint, etc.) to looking absolutely magnificent. They were efficient, quick, and absolutely cost effective. Would recommend for anyone trying to improve the appearance of their garage.

We were having a coating placed on our garage floor due to fire damage. When I called West Coast, Marc was out the next day. He surveyed the damage and gave us a very fair estimate. He was even able to do our garage floor the following week due to a customer pushing back their date due to a scheduling conflict. They finished the job from grinding the concrete, filling in the cracks applying the coat of epoxy, the flakes we chose for the first day. Second day applying the clear coat. We couldn’t be more happy!!! His employees were professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Would I use the again? ABSOLUTELY!!
This company was a joy to work with. Came out to do the estimate, and I knew right away that Marc knew what he was talking about. Over the two-day install (yes, get the two day install - the one day install is bad news), I met several people working for the company. They were on time, friendly, and thorough. They call ahead to let you know they are on the way. They did a nice job removing my old coating and applying new epoxy. Rustam even saw a neighbor was having a problem after a fall and did not hesitate to help him. Just terrific people. Highly recommend

First of all I would like to compliment Marc on his speedy response to my request. He traveled to see the project I had install for him and gave me an honest bid with above and beyond discussion on how to accomplish the task. His crew, (especially Matt) were the most kind and pleasant employees I've ever met! They worked extensively to fix the concrete floor in my new office space and then made them look like REAL MARBLE. They left my office clean and GORGEOUS!!! The Metallic Epoxy look I was going for turned out BETTER than I could have imagined. Marc and Matt were excellent at communicating through the entire process. While I still have more work cut out for this new office space, (painting, light fixtures, etc..) The contractors and painters who have come in and seen the new floors are baffled by its absolute beauty and perfection! West Coat Epoxy not only didn’t laugh when I asked for an impossible deadline, they made it happen. Here’s the thing, when Marc (owner) came back for what i thought was a minor imperfection he wasn’t satisfied and 2 days later he sent back his crew to make it perfect by redoing the entire clear coat. Honest and fair. What more can you ask for? Use these guys only if you want a good experience.

They were able to get us scheduled quickly and have a ton of different flooring options to choose from. The installation took two days and the installers Alex and Alex were both on time, they communicated when they were on their way, and they were very professional. I called about 7 places for an estimate to epoxy our garage. I had West Coast Epoxy clean-up, level and epoxy my floors in 2019 and they did a fantastic job. The team was on time and delivered as contracted. They we we polite, professional and willing to take the time and explain the process as the work was completed. Since upgrading the floor in my garage it is so easy to clean, never cracked or peeled and it gets lots of compliments. We are pleased with the results; so much that we are contracting for another floor in the near future. All in all, I find the company easy to work with and they deliver excellent product.

I moved to my new house 7 years ago and my garage was perfect. This year it was an awful mess and I decided to get a epoxy floor before my garage concrete got damaged. I reviewed the area for a business and saw the reviews on West Coast Epoxy and read the reviews about Marc. I called him. We set up a date in December for him to see my garage. He came just as he said he would and on time! We went over how his crew put down the epoxy, and Marc showed me examples of dots and flakes. I chose a flake pattern and after hearing more details and receiving the the quote I decided to do the floor ASAP. Two crews came. One on December 16th and the next on the 17th. Both crews were on time! They brought the right equipment! They knew how to use it!!!! In short, my new epoxy floor is down and it looks beautiful!!! It really looks like a show room . After waiting the required days we put back the cabinets , tools and yesterday I drove in my SUV. Sometimes in the evening I go and turn on the light to see that it is really there. I am so proud of job and myself for deciding to have West Coast Epoxy do my garage floor. It was the best experience working with a contractor in 4 years. We rebuilt our home that was destroyed in the 2017 Tubbs fire in Sonoma County and Marc's company did the epoxy on our new garage floor. His guys did an awesome job!! There were two instances that stood out on the quality and customer attention that I appreciated. After Marc measured the garage dimensions, he gave me his quote. A few days later, I did my own measurements and found mine to be 15 sq ft less. I emailed Marc this difference and asked if he would reduce his quote by the reduced footage. He did without hesitation. The second instance was his lead guy Rusty emailing me 10 photos of the completed work. That was a wow. Marc was right on time when he stopped to go over his product with me. He explained all of the different products and colors that he had with a cost that I thought was appropriate. Due to traffic, the crew that he sent (lead by Craig I believe) was running late on the day of the install however they called to let me know that they were going to be late. The installation went smoothly. Very little mess. My shop has siding on the interior walls...they did an excellent job masking off the areas so that there was no overage onto the walls. The floor looks great! I would highly recommend Marc and his crew!

I spoke with 4 companies about epoxy for my garage floor. Marc Ross from West Coast Epoxy seemed far more experienced and knowlegeable than the others--and his price was lowest. He made a second trip so we could decide on colors. Friendly and fielded all my questions--a lot of them. One note: West Coast Epoxy did my small 2-car gargate starting at 8:00 and were finished by 1:30. One of their competitors told me it was impossible to do the job in one day--that 2-3 days would be required to allow for cure times, etc. BUT when I passed this on to Marc Ross, he explained that he used different products and he uses accelerators to speed the curing. I went and looked at jobs he had done. The guy who said it couldn't be done in 1 day either knew better or should have known better. On July 12, Sean, his installer, arrived. Sean is an articulate, intelligent 24 year old--and obiously well trained to do his job. 1. He used big walk behind grinder to grind surface of old concrete. Then used a hand grinder (hands and knees) next to the walls where big grinder didn't reach. 2. Then vacuumed up about 1/2 inch of ground concrete. 3. Then applied primer and squeeged it left and right and up and down until it was absolutely evenly destributed. 4 Then sprinkled 2-3 big bags of flakes--until I could hardly see the primer under the flakes. 5. After primer/flakes were cured a bit, he then sanded the flaked surface to take sharp tips off flakes and vacuumed again. 6. After lunch and some more cure time, applied the top coat of clear non-yellowing top coat. The floor was/is shining beautifully and Sean called my attention to the fact that looking across the shiny floor, you could see some low places--because my orginal floor was not level. I was impressed that it was somethng he wanted me to know right away. To have leveled my floor completely would have required way more grinding/filling/time/expense. I don't believe anyone will notice the low spots unless I show them. If I hose out the garage, I will have some low spots to squeege or wait a while for them to dry. Sean put up with me and all my comments and question (I can be a real pain in the %#&). He throughly cleaned up before he left. If you want an epoxy garage floor, you should definitely talk to Marc Ross's West Coast Epoxy.
